He is Professor of Finance at IESE Business School. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Auditor of Banco de Portugal, Non-Executive (Member of Audit Committee) at the European Investment Bank, and Research Associate of the European Corporate Governance Institute. His particular areas of interest are climate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, banking, financial strategies, and corporate finance.
