To ensure the quality and relevance of our platform, we have established the following eligibility criteria for directors seeking to register on our Directors Databank:

• Individuals should possess appropriate Skills, Expertise and Knowledge in one or more fields of Finance | Law | Management | Sales | Marketing | Administration | Technology | Research | Corporate Governance | Technical Operations or any other relevant disciplines.
• A minimum 5 years of substantial experience as a individual or in Senior Management roles or an equivalent period of independent professional practice is required for registration in the Directors Databank.
• In case, an individual does not meet the minimum 5 years of experience requirement mentioned above, they must be at least 18 years of age and actively involved in the management of their own business or a family enterprise. This involvement necessitates a demonstration of the requisite skills and expertise relevant to the business domain.
• Directors must submit a comprehensive profile detailing Professional Experience, Skills, and notable achievements.
• By registering on the Directors Databank, individuals confirm compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and commit to ethical standards and corporate responsibility.
• Further, an individual shall not be eligible for registration in the Directors Databank, if —
  • He/She is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;
  • He/She is an undischarged insolvent;
  • He/She has applied to be adjudicated as an insolvent and his/her application is pending;
  • He/She has been convicted by a court of any offence, whether involving moral turpitude or otherwise and sentenced in respect thereof to imprisonment for not less than 6 months and a period of 5 years has not elapsed from the date of expiry of the sentence:
  • An order disqualifying him/her for appointment as a director has been passed by a court or Tribunal and the order is in force;
  • He/She has been convicted of the offence dealing with related party transactions at any time during the last preceding five years.
