H.E. Vikram K. Doraiswami joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1992. His initial posting was in the High Commission of Hong Kong as third secretary, following which; he served in the Indian Embassy in Beijing for 4 years. He has had the distinction of serving in the Prime Minister’s Office as the private secretary of the Prime Minister of India. His noteworthy stints also include his stint at India’s Permanent Mission to the UN as Political Counsellor and his posting as the Consul General of India in Johannesburg in South Africa. Over his long illustrious career, Mr. Doraiswami has served as India’s ambassador to Uzbekistan, the Republic of Korea and as India’s High Commission to Bangladesh. In between his foreign assignments, at the Ministry of External Affairs, He served as the Joint Secretary in the Americas Division, head of SAARC, and Bangladesh and Myanmar division. He was also tasked with setting up of a new division on Indo-Pacific at the MEA. He assumed charge as the High Commission of India to United Kingdom on 23 September 2022.
The Lord Johnson of Lainston CBE is a former UK Minister of State for Investment in Cabinet Office and the Department for International Trade, who served during the tenure of Prime Minister Liz Truss. He also served as the Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party from 2016 to 2019. Lord Johnson is a financier and hedge fund manager by profession, the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Somerset Capital Management. From 2006 to 2010, Johnson was a Conservative councillor for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. In the 2017 New Year Honours, Johnson was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) "for political service". Johnson began his career in finance with Robert Fleming & Co. in 1995, and then with Jardine Fleming, Hong Kong, in 1998. In 2001, he went into asset management, and worked for Lloyd George Management until 2007. In 2007, he co-founded Somerset Capital Management with three of his fellow colleagues from Lloyd George Management in Hong Kong. Lord Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in politics from Durham University, graduating in 1995.
Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta is an AGMUT (erstwhile J&K) cadre officer of the Indian Administrative Services. He has vast administrative experience in both, Jammu and Kashmir, and the Government of India, where he has displayed an extraordinary acumen as a leader. He is currently the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. Since his appointment he has initiated key good governance initiatives for the development of the State, including security initiatives, which have resulted in unprecedented flow of tourists last year and uptake in a number of economic activities. Earlier, he has served in the state Government as Financial Commissioner; also as Principal Secretary in the Power Development Department, and Commissioner & Secretary, Information Technology Department, amongst others.
Mr. K Lakshminarayanan is currently the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Law and Information technology in the Government of Puducherry, a Union Territory in India. Mr. Lakshminarayanan over the years has been a key figure in Puducherry’s administration and public policy. He is a member of Puducherry’s Legislative assembly having been elected to the Raj Bhawan constituency since the year 2001. Apart from his current responsibilities in the departments of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Law and IT; Mr Lakshminarayanan earlier held the prominent portfolio of PWD Minister. He has been a vocal advocate for enhancing Puducherry’s infrastructure including the development of ferry terminal and minor port under the Sagarmala Scheme. In the year 2021, he was appointed the Protem Speaker of Puducherry Assembly by the Governor and tasked with the important duty of discharging oath to the hon’ble Members of Legislative Assembly.
RT Honorable Lord Swraj Paul of Marylebone, PC - an Indian born, British businessman and Philanthropist is the Chairman of Caparo Group Limited.
After completing his education, he joined his family business in Calcutta. Subsequently, in 1966 he went to England for medical aid for his younger daughter, Ambika. Following Ambika’s tragic death in 1968, he founded the Caparo Group in the United Kingdom. The first Caparo company was Natural Gas Tubes Ltd, a Steel Tubes Manufacturing Plant in Huntingdon, UK. The Caparo Group with headquarters in London, UK: has operations in the UK, USA, Canada, India and UAE.
Lord Paul has been conferred with the prestigious civilian award Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 1983. In 1996, He was appointed as a Life Peer by Conservative Prime Minister John Major, and he sits in the House of Lords as a Cross-Bencher with the title Baron Paul of Marylebone, in the City of Westminster.
Gopichand P. Hinduja, fondly known as ‘GP’ in business circles, is Co-Chairman of the Hinduja Group.

Baroness Sandip Verma was born in Punjab, India, moving to the UK with her parents at the age of one. A successful business woman, Lady Verma started her first business at the age of 19 in high fashion, supplying high street multiples. In 2000, she changed her business to the service sector and went into auxiliary care. She joined Conservative Party in 1999. In 2006, she was raised to the peerage as Baroness Verma of Leicester in the County of Leicestershire. Prior to becoming Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for DECC in September 2012, Baroness Verma was Spokesperson for Cabinet Office, International Development, Women and Equalities and Business Innovation and Skills. Baroness Verma also served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for International Development from May 2015 until July 2016.
Dr Kamali is a leader in organizational change, and has spearheaded education, training, research and applied technology programmes in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East for more than two decades. In 1989, following doctoral studies in engineering at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., he returned to the UAE where he took up senior leadership positions with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) — the UAE’s largest institution of higher learning with 17 campuses. Five years later, he founded the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT), HCT’s entrepreneurial and commercial arm. In 2005, he was HCT Vice Chancellor till 2015.
Mr. Atul Temurnikar is a prominent member of the education industry in South East Asia, Middle East and India and serves as a founding Trustee and Executive Chairman of Singapore based Global Schools Foundation (GSF), a not-for-profit organisation. He is a philantrophist and born leader. Recently he contributed 200000 Singapore Dollar to PM Care Fund for Covid19. An engineer by qualification, he has completed his Masters in Management from the University of East London. His career saw him venturing into the education sector after a 14-year stint in information technology (IT) firms like HCL Technologies Ltd and IBM (1997-2002). Mr. Temurnikar is recipient of many awards / accolades incl Walter L. Hurd Executive Medal from Walter L. Hurd Foundation, USA and the Asia Pacific Quality Organization.
Lord (Tariq) Ahmad of Wimbledon is the Minister of State for the Middle East, South Asia and the United Nations at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). He is also the Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict. Lord Ahmad was Minister of State for the Commonwealth and the United Nations until September 2020. He was then appointed Minister for South and Central Asia, North Africa, United Nations and the Commonwealth until September 2022. From 2018 to 2019, Lord Ahmed was the special envoy to the Prime Minister for Freedom of Religion or Belief. Apart from this he has also served as the Minister for Aviation and Trade, Minister for Countering Extremism, Transport Minister, Skills & Aviation Security. From 2012 to 2014 he was the Government Whip and Lord in Waiting. He was also the National Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party from 2008 to 2010. Lord Ahmed is the Councillor (Wimbledon Park) and Cabinet Member in the London Borough of Merton (2002 to 2012). Lord Ahmad had a 20-year career in the City working in banking and finance, including at the NatWest Group where he was a senior manager in corporate banking and financial markets.
Ritu Prakash Chhabria is the Founder member and Managing Trustee of the Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF). Over the years he has received a number of prestigious accolades and awards including Seatrade Maritime Lifetime Achievement Award 2020 Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa and has been chronicled as a logistics leader by the ITP Media Group.
Mr. Prashant Goyal, IAS is a 1993 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the AGMUT Cadre. Since inception he has worked in various government departments at various positions including Finance, Commerce, Taxation and Infrastructure. He has served as the Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance where he was in-charge for the UN, Multilateral Institutions, and Coin & Currency. Prior to assuming charge as the Principal Secretary for Department of Industries and Commerce, Jammu & Kashmir, Mr. Goyal also served as an advisor to the Asian Development Bank in Manila and as Principal Secretary for Finance, Planning and IT at the Government of Puducherry. Mr. Goyal has a B.E. Degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Jaipur and PG Diploma in Public Policy and Management from IIM, Bangalore. He holds certificates from University of California, Irvine in Macro Economics & Micro Economics Policy.
In 2001, Mr. Zubin Jal Karkaria conceptualised and set up VFS Global – as an outstanding example of disruptive innovation. He was also the CEO of the Switzerland-headquartered Kuoni Group (of which VFS Global was a part) globally from 2015 until 2017. VFS Global, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland and Dubai, UAE is a portfolio company of Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager. Joining Kuoni in 1991, Mr. Karkaria handled several managerial roles before he was appointed as the CEO and Managing Director of Kuoni India and South Asia in 2005. He was made a member of the Kuoni Group Executive Board in 2013, and in 2015 he became the first Asian to be appointed as the CEO of Kuoni Group. In December 2016, Mr. Karkaria was appointed ‘Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite’ (Knight of the National Order of Merit) by the President of the French Republic, François Hollande. He has won several other accolades such as the “Pioneer of the Global Visa Services Industry” and being listed as one of the “Top 25 Young Executives in India” by Business Today.
Mr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, assumed the charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) from 1st September, 2022. Mr. Srivastava is an industry veteran bringing with him an extremely rich professional experience spanning almost near to four decades. He joined ONGC in 1984 as a Graduate Trainee and has over the years risen in the hierarchy of ONGC by serving in different capacities and key positions, including position of Chief of Exploration and Development Directorate. He has played a key role in discoveries of hydrocarbons and making field development plans for major oil & gas fields of ONGC including fields in Assam and Assam Arakan Basin, Mumbai High, Bassein & Neelam, besides others. As an acknowledgement of his contributions he was awarded with ‘Geologist of the Year’ in 2002 and honoured with the prestigious ‘National Mineral Award’ in 2009.
A multidimensional personality, Mrs. Berlia is a leading Entrepreneur, Industrialist and Educationist who has devoted her life to nation-building with global footprints. Mrs Berlia was the first woman to lead a multi-state apex chamber of commerce in India, serving as the President of the PHDCCI in 2005-06. She was the first woman in India to lead her own pharmaceutical company, when not yet 30, and was the first woman entrepreneur of a major educational group in India. Mrs. Berlia is a Former Member of the Board of Governors, IIT Rourkee, and Former Chairperson, Board of Governors, NIT, Jalandhar. She is the Chairperson of ASSOCHAM’s National Council for ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and is a member of the National Management Committees of ASSOCHAM and FICCI. In 1995, Mrs Berlia represented India at the UN World Social Summit at Copenhagen and delivered the keynote address on the ‘Role of Women at the Work Place’.
Mr. Vijay Karia, is the Chairman and MD of Ravin Group of Companies. Ravin group is a leading player in the Indian power and energy. He has been Chairman of Cable Division of IEEMA. As Chairman and Managing Director of Ravin Group, he has been instrumental in leading the electrical cable segment in many ways by launching new and improved products from time to time, and has been a pioneer and largest exporter of cables from India. His is the first Indian cable manufacturing company to set up its manufacturing facility overseas in UAE. He was recently awarded as India's Most Inspiring Entrepreneur by the Economic Times, and is considered as one among the top 50 Entrepreneurs by ET today.
Mr. Terry Heymann is CFO at the World Gold Council and has broad experience across the gold supply chain. In addition to his role as CFO and Company Secretary. Mr. Heymann also oversees the World Gold Council’s ESG initiatives, including development of the Responsible Gold Mining Principles, the Conflict-Free Gold Standard and the Guidance Note on All-In Costs, all of which support increased transparency and integrity in the gold industry. Mr. Heymann also leads the World Gold Council’s programme of work around ESG, including supporting further progress by the gold industry in helping to deliver the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and address climate change. Prior to joining the World Gold Council, he was a Principal at Marakon Associates, a leading strategy consultancy, where he helped clients in several industries on strategic issues and new product development.
Mr. Navneet Munot is the MD & CEO of HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC/ HDFC Mutual Funds), a joint venture of HDFC Ltd. with Abrdn Investment Management Limited. He has 28 years of rich experience in financial markets, and joined the firm in February 2021. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of SBI Funds Management Private Limited. He was a key member of the Executive Committee, responsible for overseeing investments worth over $ 150 billion across various asset classes in mutual funds and segregated accounts. He was also a Director on the board of SBI Pension Funds (P) Limited. In his previous assignments, he was the Executive Director & Head – multi-strategy boutique with Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Chief Investment Officer – Fixed Income and Hybrid Funds at Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. He has a Masters’ degree in Accountancy and Business Statistics; is a qualified Chartered Accountant from India; Charter Holder of the CFA Institute and CAIA Institute. He has also done Financial Risk Management (FRM).
Mr. Vivek Kumar Dewangan, IAS is the Chairman & Managing Director of REC Limited since May 17, 2022. He is an IAS officer (Manipur:1993) and holds B.E. in Electronics from NIT, Bhopal and P.G. in Optoelectronics & Optical Communication from IIT, Delhi. Prior to joining REC, he was Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power, Government of India. During his illustrious IAS career, he has held various administrative positions in the areas of Finance, Power & Energy, Petroleum & Natural Gas, Elections, Law & Justice, Commerce & Industries, Minister’s Offices (Corporate Affairs, Agriculture & Food Processing Industries), Education, Human Resource Development, Sericulture, Agriculture & Cooperation, Economic affairs, Economics & Statistics, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, District Administration (Surguja & Raipur district in Chhattisgarh and Senapati district in Manipur) and revenue administration. As CMD, he provides strategic vision and overall direction to REC for achieving its corporate objectives. He is also the ex-officio Chairman of REC’s wholly-owned subsidiary viz. REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL).
Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla, IAS is Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture & Public Relation Department, Govt of M.P. and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. He is serving in the Tourism Department since August 2020 in which time several important international and domestic campaigns have been conceptualized and successfully organized. He has been instrumental in steering the tourism policy in the state towards responsible and eco-tourism with a focus on rural and agri-tourism. The state has also become a major hub for spiritual and wellness tourism. In his long years of service, Mr. Shukla has been an exemplary administrator with extensive knowledge and expertise about the state and its varied social schemes and programs. His present responsibilities include overseeing the entire Tourism portfolio for the state. Mr. Shukla also handles the portfolio of Principal Secretary of Culture and Public Relations Dept of Govt of M.P. He holds M. Tech in Nuclear Science and have about 26 years of work experience in the Indian Administrative Services. He has held various assignments in the field as collector and Commissioner.
Ms. Helen Brand is chief executive of ACCA, the global body for professional accountants, a post she has held since 2008.
Helen has built her career within professional bodies and has considerable experience and knowledge of the 178 markets in which ACCA currently operates. She is a founding member of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and now serves as a co-Vice-Chair of the Value Reporting Foundation which was created through the merger of the IIRC and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) in June 2021.
She is a member of the UK government’s Professional and Business Services Council, and she was appointed to the UK DIT’s Trade Advisory Group on Professional Advisory Services in August 2020. One of the few women to lead a global professional body, Helen is a regular media commentator on the role ethics and the delivery of public value play in business and society.
Mr. Goonmeet Singh Chauhan is an architect, urbanist, aspiring author and a futurist with boundless enthusiasm. Mr. Chauhan established Tevatia, Chauhan & Sharma along with his two partners in 1995, which later gave birth to Design Forum International in 2003. He believes that architects must go beyond the stated brief and use their imagination to discern the dynamic flow of life that shall happen within the containers called buildings to create habitats that are birthed in their context and irradiate experiential joy and visual delight.His notable projects include the Select Citywalk, a distinguished retail centre, CyberWalk and the recently inaugurated New Courts Block at the Delhi High Court. His contribution to the once in a lifetime opportunity of being a part of “Nation Building” includes projects like the VanijyaBhawan, Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India, NIT Delhi, New Integrated Terminal Building, Guwahati International Airport, Metro Stations, Dakshineswar Skywalk, Kolkata, ITO Skywalk, Amritsar Railway Station and Multi-Modal Logistics and Transport Hub, Dadri.. To celebrate the opening of the New Courts Block, he recently authored a book titled 'The Delhi High Court- Making of the New Courts block', which solemnizes the completion of the project.
Mr. Sandeep Singh is the Managing Director, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Private Limited (Tata Hitachi), a leader in the Indian Construction Equipment Industry. He joined Tata Hitachi in August 2015. Mr. Singh has over 3 decades of experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and General Management roles across Automotive, Tractor and Construction Equipment industries. He has spent 22 years at Toyota where his last position in India was as Dy. MD & Chief Operating Officer in 2014. Prior to joining Tata Hitachi, he was based at Bangkok, Thailand where he was responsible for Strategy Planning Operations of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific. Mr. Singh began his career with the Mahindra group where he worked in the Tractor and Automotive industry. He also had a 5-year stint in the Construction Equipment industry with JCB India, where he was the Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
Mr. Loknath Behera, IPS retired as the Director General of Police & State Police Chief, of Kerala in June 2021. In the past, he has worked in the NIA (National Investigation Agency) & CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) for about 16 years. Since August 2021, he has taken over as the Managing Director, Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. In the year 2009, he was called by the Govt. of India (GoI) to join the newly formed National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Counter Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency of India. He is considered the founder member and credited for establishing and building the ‘National Investigation Agency’ (NIA). He joined the Indian Police Service in 1985 as an ASP in Kerala Cadre, holding several important posts like DCP in Trivandrum, Commissioner of Police, Cochin. Thereafter he was the SP and DIG in CBI, for more than 10 years. He was conferred the Meritorious Service Medal in 2002 for outstanding contribution to the Indian Police and Distinguished Service Medal in 2009 for outstanding contributions to the Indian Police by President of India. He has also won Awards for Excellence in Public Service from various public institutions and private bodies.

Prof. Ludo Van der Heyden has been Professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD since 1988 and has been the INSEAD Chaired Professor in Corporate Governance since October 2010. Prof. Brendon Noble is a medicines development specialist and biotechnologist with an interest in musculoskeletal health, biomaterials and cell therapy production. He is Professor of Regenerative Medicine and Head of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Westminster and served as Chief Scientific Officer & Director of Strategy at the U.K. Stem Cell Foundation. He has been working in the field of stem cell biology since 1989. Mr. B. V. R. Subrahmanyam, IAS (Retd) is a 1987 batch Indian Administrative Services officer of Chhattisgarh cadre who served as the Commerce Secretary of India. Over the long course of his illustrious career, Mr. Subrahmanyam worked in the Prime Minister’s Office between 2004-2008 and March 2012 – March 2015 under Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi respectively. In between his PMO stints he worked with the World Bank. In 2015 he was shifted to Chhattisgarh where he was a principal secretary followed by an Additional Chief Secretary (Home). He also held additional charges of jail and transport during his tenure there. Subrahmanyam was appointed by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir in June 2018.
