Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC) is the nodal agency for skilling in the State and an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan, to cater to the challenges of creating a large number of livelihood opportunities for the poor, increasing labor force and to increase the income levels of working poor in the State. It was established as a Skill and Livelihoods Mission, way back in 2004, under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan and is the first Livelihoods Mission in the country. TRSLDC implements both the Centrally Sponsored as well as State sponsored skill training schemes and has so far trained more than 4.2 lakh school dropout unemployed youth with the provision of wage and self-employment opportunities. These training programmes cater to the skilling needs of economically and socially weaker sections of the society, the SC, ST, women, Minorities, Persons with Special Ability, other marginalized groups etc.
